A timetraveller took this marvellous watch to a land in the distant past & audienced with its ruler.
The ruler was beguiled by its mysterious & wonderful power so exchanged half their riches to possess the machine’s great magic.
The timetraveller buried the riches, retrieving them in the current day then lived quietly & happily.
