The Story
Professor Charles Sommers invented a vapor dubbed the Summers Gas which changed the human mind’s perception of beauty by reversing the spectrum and covertly deployed it.
Overnight, those who had traded on their sublime looks became social pariahs while those who had been shunned as inescapably ugly were lauded.
Sarah had been the beneficiary of her prettiness as long as she could remember until that momentous when all she had invested in was stolen by the vapor.
