One day a girl purchased a beautiful chair to read her spare moments away.
What she didn’t know is that this chair was special.
You may be unaware but there are tiny doorways all around us, too thin to see, but connected by corridors across vast distances.
The girl learnt this one peaceful afternoon when her chair began to vibrate as if humming.
Suddenly she was transported to an unfamiliar place then returned home a few minutes later.
The following days the girl travelled to twenty locations: an island in Latvia, a jungle in Iceland and an abandoned staircase in Mauritania among them.
Soon she learnt the chair’s patterns — where it would take her and when.
Now, friend, think how you would use this wonderful chair?
After toying with deceitful schemes (some of which you’ve maybe imagined), and weary of the harm if her chair fell into the wrong hands, the girl settled on one.
She wrote a letter to a group of wealthy promising to instantly transport them to places they’d never been, for a fee, and on condition they used it for good (and kept its secret).
Those who agreed did amazing things (sadly, none of which I can share).
