The Jeans That Turned Him Invisible

One day a boy purchased a pair of jeans he’d long wanted only for a flash of coincidence to interrupt his euphoria.

You see, coffee spilt all over them at just the moment he was reclining to listen to music.

Now, all this would be sad but not noteworthy were it not for a little known fact: light fears darkness but only when repelled by a precise mix of denim soaked in coffee and soundwaves vibrating at an exact frequency.

In that instant when all three ingredients fatefully collided daylight bent around the surprised boy to reveal only the scenery behind. Yes, he was invisible.

Soon closely guarded secrets of unkind people began inexplicably appearing in public and their most prized possessions began disappearing.

Feeling anxious and vulnerable, the city’s unkind soon learned that doing kind acts would help them avoid the fate that had so far befallen others.

Soon generosity spread and the city was happier.

And the boy? Well he’s hard to find now but if you do see him it’s as if nothing unusual ever happened.
