The Story
To passersby the magical chocolate bar looked just like an ordinary chocolate bar. On closer inspection though were instructions offering a choice & a curious promise:
Opening and eating from one side, it said, would make the eater twice as attractive but half as liked. Opening from the other would make them twice as liked but half as attractive.
A replacement chocolate bar would appear after eating.

Some believed what they read, others did not. But everyone who ate discovered the ordinary looking chocolate bar was not ordinary at all.
