The Mountain Bison's Jacket

One day a boy purchased a beautiful jacket of wool and nylon.

What noone knew is that a series of extraordinary events had made the jacket incredible.

You see, fleece from a mountain-dwelling bison — long-thought mythical (and able to prance up sheer cliffs effortlessly) — had contaminated a villager’s wool bale when the creature malted.

The fleece, actually the secret to the beast’s balance and fleet-footedness, tumbled from a cliff and settled fortuitously.

For those unaware, the mountain bison’s coat somehow imitates helium, making it lighter than air and repellant to imbalance.

All this then, makes perfect sense of the boy’s chance discovery that when wearing the jacket he could now run three times faster than the average kid and scale walls like noone else on earth.

Realising his newfound abilities would quickly arouse suspicion, the boy used the jacket in secret (winning school races only during winter and only by the smallest margins).

Now he hides among us doing even bigger things you won’t notice unless you know where to look.
