The Story
Scientist Dr James Gregory fulfilled his dream of creating a pill which extended a human’s life by 1000 years. Having accomplished his lifelong dream, Dr Gregory took the pill in triumph. But as he outlived his wife, then children he grieved inconsolably. Endless cycles of football seasons and political elections came and went and his deep nonchalance grew. His meaningless life become suffocating and inescapable as he longed for death.
