The Story
In another world, similar to ours but different, chocolate grew on trees. They had a beautiful golden skin with distinctive patterning which was peeled to reveal a delicious brown flesh ready for devouring. But people grew tired of such delights because they seemed far too common and healthy to be enjoyable.
Eating was changed forever when Samson L. Faringa founded an industry that invented and made millions of pieces of confectionery known as ‘fruit’. His prized invention was known as a ‘pear’ with an edible skin and juicy nectar. The people longed for these guilty treats and relished eating them often.
